The Beatles – Within You Without You Lyrics 17 years ago
although this song is pretty trippy, it's not about drugs or anything. It is a really beautiful and meaningful song. (my fave beatles song) It means that if everyone opened their minds and saw everything for what is is and all it ever will be then this world would be a magical place, but that will never really happen.

Marcy Playground – Opium Lyrics 17 years ago
Having been addicted to opiates, I can stongly identify with this song. The lines "I'm so happy" is almost a joke, the drug tricks you into thinking you are happy. "I'm all right" For me this means when someone asks if you are okay, you are alright. "I'm just gagging on all the alright" Gagging is a side effect of the drug, which could be what he meant. "I'm in heaven" also sarcastic, this drug really blurs all reality. heaven is a palce where there is no cares, when you are on this drug you really don't care about anything.

"Oh the seizures come from opium" (it really does say seasons and for, but in the lyric book this is printed, i think it's another bit of sarcasm) this lyric sounds like an excuse, or withdrawl symptoms.

This song really perfectly explains how being addicted on opiates for a long time feels.
