| Propagandhi – Human(e) Meat (The Flensing Of Sandor Katz) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I can't say I care too much for this. (Maybe this is just because I am a fan of Sandor Katz) but I must say it's not really cool of them to pick someone with AIDS to write this kind of song about. Just my personal opinion. I believe that he was referencing his sickness in that quote that emmatee posted when he said "many one-time vegetarians return to meat, frequently spurred by pregnancy or health crisis". He most likely went back to meat because he felt he needed it for healing. Just my opinion. | |

Where it says: "You'd seem 'em wearing their baggies ? too Everybody's gone surfin'" I'm pretty sure they're saying "Jesus loves them too" |

Okay I'm going to have a go at this. My theory is that this song is about a guy who is in a relationship and the girl's parents don't approve. At the beginning of the song it seems as though he's telling her 'lets just pretend the world doesn't exist. We don't need them to be happy, all we need is eachother' Then towards the middle when he's saying "sear all your thoughts of me, alone and unhappy..." he's sounding defeated as though her parents are getting to him and he wants her to just forget about him... "In a dream We are connected Siamese twins At the wrist" -would be like saying 'in a perfect world we are attached/together forever" I'm not too sure about the end but it could signify the ending or breaking of her relationship with her parents so she could be with him. |
