The song really speaks for itself. It's about the start of a relationship where you're fascinated with the person and it's all lovey-dovey. And boys can wear flowered hats too! I don't think she's singing about a girl though. I do love the imagery in the lyrics too, it's beautiful. |

Personally I think it's about when Gaga gets drunk, she feels so confident and sexy (I touch myself all through the night), almost unstoppable and when "that glass is empty the world is gonna bend", when she stops drinking everything is gonna change, she's not gonna feel so sexy and confident anymore so she tells herself to keep drinking. If you ever see her live at V Fest, it's obvious she's a little tipsy cos she says it herself, she keeps swearing and she talks about sex a lot haha. Amazing song. |

"That secret that you know, but you don't know how to tell"- She's having an affair with Justin (possibly on his brother) and she's fallen in love with him but she doesn't know how to break it to the brother. "It fucks with your honour, and it teases your head"- An orgasm "But you know that it's good girl, cos it's running you with red"- But you know it's ok cos it's making your blood rush. Blood possibly referencing the title of the song. Just an idea. |
