When he says 'Like a machine il fix you from the start, im in repair life that we share' Here 'life that we share' could mean the true self we all have when we remove all our emotions, thoughts, feelings. The life that we share is the true self we all share and have in common. When he says il fix you from the start, this is sort of like fixing the person beneathe all the destructive thoughts and feelings, to get to the real source of the problem. Going beyond locking the door. Know the wires, the fuse, the things that you doubt. Things that you doubt are thoughts, feelings, emotions that confuse you and need to constantly be replaced by "new parts". Sort of like humans with ego and our concept how we see ourselves, are just parts like on a machine. When we remove these parts we are lost and need new ones. I think its kind of a song about a destructive cycle hoping for a way out. |
