the singer seems to be really upfront on the whole album, but i do feel a built in self hatred throughout it. Like in this song, where he is singing Rococo in HIS song now, with a funky song layout. |

Have none of you ever listened to
Pyramid Song?
Thom Yorke is not religious.
There is good and bad in religion, and in people.
I believe he does this to show people, that don't believe, that all aspects of religion aren't bad. |

I believe this song is about Thom speaking to somebody he knows(lieing to this person).
In reality his world is crashing down, but he's dancing around that, because that's the
self defense mechanism he's built through the years. The wall he has built that tells him
to keep it light, and keep it moving, as to not get hurt. He's torn between what to do,
and scared that this person will think badly of him, if he said what he wanted 100% of the time.

Everyone just wants to solve a mystery. We're put on this random floating rock with no purpose, and we're full of questions that don't get answered. |

It's very very very very hard to understand what Thom means in this song. He is not a religious man at all. Why would a non religious man write a song like this? it's either not about him at all, or it is him realizing he has kids now, and he's not sure if he wants them to believe in a heaven or not, because he's obviously been tormented by daeth his entire life.

I've always gotten the feeling that Thom is an atheist who talks about humans as if he wern't one, and also very good at making songs that seem to be about him,but are really about somebody else from his perspective. |

I always thought of this as kurt flirting with an inner case of atheist feelings, which has become more, and more widely spread since the fact of evolution was discovered |

If you'd been a dog
They would have drowned you at birth
Look into my eyes
It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth
I feel Like he is talking about his bad eye here.
He feels like he would be sacrificed first. |

Sounds to me like thom is an atheist, who at times wants to forget about these truths of life. He knows how logical his atheist thoughts are, but that doesn't mean he can't have a good life. |

I believe in the first part he is talking about himself, and how going against the grain on anything will start talk from the crowd. The second part adds onto this by talking about a girl going against the grain, and the crowd starts to talk. The third part is the crowd talking to the people going against the grain, talling them this is what you will recieve for your actions. The fourth part is about the people trying to fit in by critisizing the outcasts. The ending is the saddest part, it is the outcast apologizing/taking back what he said, to avoid the crowds harsh judgement. |

I believe he is talking about his death, and when people make r.i.p. videos and the t.v. plays little segments of the artists songs and they talk about how the person died, and his life |
