this song is about a man whose friend has abandoned him to join the cool kids. But the only way he can be with them is if he does dangerous things to impress them. He does not see this, as he is blinded by the fact that he is cool. The man is trying to harn him that they are not his real friends and the moment he falls they will abandon him and he will have nothing left. His overall message; 'dont leave me high and dry'
means dont abandon me. It is a sad story. |
