I find it funny how you mock this song, when you couldn't write anything even close to as good as the original version. I also find it funny, how if you hate My Chemical Romance so much, that you took it upon yourself to have anything to do with their song. Grow up buddy, you don't have to like the band, but you don't have to mock them either. |

Wow.. I just downloaded this song earlier tonight, after a friend recommended it. And it makes me think of my friend, he passed away two nights ago, and when we were little we were the BEST OF FRIENDS.. and we stopped talking a year or two ago , and now he passed away..and I never got to say goodbye. :( This song is amazing. |

I think that this song is about someone, who is still in love with one of their previous boyfriends/girlfriends, and they're saying stuff , like " what if i change the world ? would you care then.. what if i graduate, will you be proud? what if i don't , will you be disapointed ? " or my other idea was that this song could just be talking about moving on, leaving behind school/friends and etc. |

I think this song is about, how all the older generations are going on and on , about how " the kids of today aren't going to get anywhere , all they want to do is party / get drunk / do drugs " but Simple Plan is saying, that there may be people like that in their/our generation, but theres also people who aren't.. and they are going to be what they want. Like saying, that the past generations should back off, and let us live our way.. because theres nothing wrong with how we're living. |

I completely agree with thisxworldsxcold, and BenefitOfTheDoubt. I think it's probably something to do with a father/daughter (or son) relationship, family things.. more than dating/marriage wise. I do agree with foolish.heart as well, that people can look at it in different ways.. and that's a good thing. That's just the way I see it, not saying that I'm right. :) |

This is such an AMAZING song. The lyrics are so real. I attended their concert in Ottawa, and when they played it live.. I cried.
