WOw anberlin. I feel so inspired and so proud to wear my anberlin shirt!! So AMAZING. So its a careful warning to the government that we christians will unite together to change things for the better.. Regardless, i feel empowered and ready to take on the world... anberlin = awesome. But if thats what it means, its still controversial... if its literally talking about setting people's walls to fire. |

This song is about someone who cannot move on from a past love, revisiting his memories which are raised especially when he goes back to the town where they had a romance. Wow this song truly is haunting. It is about a man who is haunted by the memory of his lover - she could be dead, or she could have just moved on elsewhere, we do not know. He can't see her, but he can feel her, and he still wants her so much "Just want your heartbeat on top of mine" "THeres something dancing here in the shadows" may suggest that one of the things they liked to do was dance together. The fact that the clock stopped working "at a quarter past three" indicates several meanings. It shows that he is stuck on a moment in time, captured there completely, and unable to move on. It also shows that the place there holds memories that are frozen in time - there have been no new memories made there since she was there with him. |
