| Bonnie Brae is a street near downtown Los Angeles that at the time this song was written was probaly the most popular place you could buy heroin off the street in the city. To me this song is about the hell of having to be off drugs because they are killing you and you have the promise of a bright future but you still feel like shit without them. he is painting the feeling of loneliness - adandon in all senses of the word. Its funny how hard it is to choose between heroin and having to live without it. Trust me its a no win situation!!! But more importantly I think this song is about hope. Things are going to get better if stop focusing on the shitty things in life and start looking at the bright side of things where everything is perfect just the way it is. | |
