i only enjoy this song because of the lyrics: "i have read the right books to interpret your looks" and "this is unlike the story it was written to be" i actually like the "oh no no no no" thing. lol. i always thought she said "made me bold like a horse"; i personally don't see "made me bold like a whore" could make sense when she sings "we were galloping manic". |

I've killed myself with changes trying to make it better But I still ended up becoming something other Than what I had planned to be i think the song is just about him changing his mind about things that he thinks should happen etc etc. i never wanted to get into interpreting this song or wanted to know what this song is about; i think it's cute the way i think this song is for. |

OR: that the 'people' are trying to buy a lover or a friend to keep from being lonely. or, for say, that they are paying one to stay with them. of course, it DOES say 'Now the shops, they are all opening', so i cant really say my second assumption is correct. |
