| Death Cab for Cutie – Passenger Seat Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| When I first heard this song, my fiance, me, and his family were driving back to the city from out in the country at night. What perfect timing! It was such a nice drive, to be with my fiance and the relaxing atmosphere of the country. Pure bliss. | |
| Rosie Thomas – These Friends Of Mine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This is a very beautiful song, but sad. I'm thinking she's singing about her friends that moved away to big cities, such as Philadelphia and NY, for bigger and better careers and lives. But she notices that as they get wrapped up in their lives, deep down, there's not as happy like they were when they all lived in the same town (i.e. "when the shows are over, don't know where to go.") She's hoping that they'll be happy again, and that they won't forget about her or how much fun they had together. | |

I'm one of those who don't see this about a romantic relationship necessarily. I think that's reading too far into it. I think it's about anything that was a constant in your life; a place, a lover, a family member, a friend, life in general, etc... and then having it be taken away. |

I heard that the meaning was anti-abortion as well, and against killing in general. Lena's quote from UCSB interview: "Like "Beliy Plashik," it's our new song. "Did you see the video? It's against abortions and against when someone kills another, or when somebody hurts another... it's against that, and against abortion." I can see it, especially in the refrain. |

Here's the english translation: I sprinkle dirt onto your corpse Even if it is forbidden In the pleasure of that innocent gaze There was an undeniable temptation Why are there crimes? Why is there punishment? The end of the bone was very white And brought the infinitely continuing darkness Everything seemed clearer Yet it soon disappears I lock up the memories of you Even if the lock is broken Underneath the crazed affection There was an uncontrollable urge I picked up the pieces While waiting for the dream to end It's a crime because I gave up I recieve punishment because I was too attached Abandoning everything everywhere It spins and spins again When the morning comes will I be able to smile? Can I smile like I did that day? Let me have lost nothing at all I wish, and wish again |

| Josh Groban – Awake Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song really hits home for me, being in a long distance relationship, only being able to see my love a few times a year. This song just describes those last mornings we spend together so perfectly. | |
| Josh Groban – Mi Mancherai (Il Postino) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I can't get enough of the violin in here. It's so deep and melancholy, matching the lyrics. | |

I love this song so much!!! It's so poetic, and whoever wrote this is a true genius. "I can't keep on watching forever. I'd give up this view just to tell her." That line is phenomenal. It describes love from afar so well. |
