When I hear this song Idk how it could be clearer.. and then it gets to this line "The way I feel under your command" it's so homographical is she intending that it means that her emotions are in his command or that is she trying to enlighten him on how she feels about being in his command. I love this part. |

I doubt it means he's cutting himself I bet I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that he's never written about cutting himself before I think that MyLoveDecays was on to something in the sense of "he's cutting her out of his own heart so it's seamless" he doesn't want her to be with him anymore and the place she figuratively resided was his heart. he's using the literal to describe the figurative. it's a common lyrical tactic. |

If you wanna find out info on his marriage etc.. you can just look on youtube.. thats how I found out just look up corey taylor interviews. He talked about how he was really happy that he asked her to leave/divorced her. and that he's been drinking a lot less since that happened. although if I have to make my own call on the matter I don't think he's happy On the extended edition of come what(ever) may he has a song or two about Scarlet. and then there is this.. that's my observation. he misses her but I'm sure it was for the better.. |
