Rammstein – Laichzeit Lyrics 16 years ago
Camel, that line can also be the German equivalent of our most basic wedding vows, ending in 'til death do us part' (scheide meaning divide, or seperate, rather than vagina)

But back to these lyrics.
I agree with professor, the metaphors for the older, younger, and kink makes a lot of sense, especially in the last verse. The Old dies, the Young grows up, and I think the shore is a reference to memory, but I could be wrong on this last one.

She Wants Revenge – Tear You Apart Lyrics 16 years ago
Am I the only one who thinks of this as a couple of kids falling in love in high school, or something?

"Got a big plan, this mindset, maybe it's right
At the right place and right time, maybe tonight
And the whisper or handshake sending a sign
Want to make out and kiss hard, wait, nevermind"

- A Boy with a crush, he starts fantasizing, 'will he get to hold her? kiss her? maybe it'll happen tonight!', but then he dismisses it as just fantasy ("wait, nevermind"

"Late night in passing, mention it flip to her best friend
Who knows, saying 'maybe it slipped'
But the slip turns to terror and a crush to like
Then she walked in, he froze up, believe it's the fright"

I think this is the Girl telling her best friend that the Girl like the Boy. It slipped out, and the Boy heard about it, making him really nervous, but he likes her even more, cause he may have a chance.

"It's cute in a way, until you cannot speak
And you leave to have a cigarette, your knees get weak
An escape is just a nod and a casual wave
Obsessed about it, heavy for the next two days"

Being shy is cute, except when you can't talk, since you're so nervous. He tryed to talk to her but locks up, he leaves to smoke, and instead of going back and trying again, the Boy nods, waves, and leaves, but obsesses over it for the next few days

"It's only just a crush, it'll go away
It's just like all the others, it'll go away
Or maybe this is danger and he just don't know
You pray it all away but it continues to grow

I want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes, girl
So lovely, it feels so right

I want to hold you close
Soft breasts, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I want to fucking tear you apart"

-- Pretty self explanatory, Boy can't stop thinking about Girl, but tries to tell himself that he'll get over it... but what if he's in love? how easily will that just go away?

The chorus is what he wishes he could do: touch, hold, whisper to, and feel Girl, but because he can't his frustration comes out in the last line " I wanna fucking tear you apart."
It's not out of wanting to harm her, but the repressed feelings he has for her are aggravating

The last half of the song is Boy finally telling girl how he really feels, and Girl confirming that she likes him too, but they are worried about what their friends will think (?)
Then they go for it, and he gets his release, he finally has her and it's overwhelming to him.

They Might Be Giants – Nightgown of the Sullen Moon Lyrics 17 years ago
it seems sort like its' about a girl who was sleep walking, fell, due the the shoelaces, and fell against the door, or doorknob.
Which would be particularly dangerous if you where to hit your head. Hence "fire alarms go off in your head, you live." So she would have a severe head injury, makes her see lights, and a possible ringing(?),

I'm take a wild stab here, but the best I can do is that it's about having everything, but thinking (or worrying that) you have nothing.

Nothing's Gonna Change My Clothes isn't nonsensical, it's about death, go look at the corresponding page to that song, it makes a lot of sense.
