As i seen in an interveiw James said this song is telling you to see things from a different perspective, and to put yourself in someone elses shoes. He said that if someone had just recieved £1,000,000 what would you do if you was them... If someone had you knew had lost someone close, what would you do... And if someone loves someone and is unsure about what to do, what would you do ? |

The social worker and their client has been used as a simile. In an Interveiw James said that that the song geraldine is about how how romance isnt dead in the world and that there are still good people in the world, so there is always somebody thier for you when you need them. The realationship could be between anybody; boyfriend & girlfreind; two freinds; father & son etc... |

Glasvegas are great! Seen them at leeds fest this year, one of the best bands ive seen. Although this song seems like a lovesong to his dad; in an interveiw James said that he wrote the song about guilt & regret, and about that he would like to change all the wrong things in his life so that he has no later regrets. As an example he writes about when a father leaves his family , he will later feel guilty leaving his wife and kids and regret missing out on all the good things that could have happened. |
