Yea I've always placed this song next to Hamburger Lady as the ^^(weirdest, eeriest)most frightening songs ever made. I really can't say which one is more so, but Hamburger Lady has a bit more of a feel of the worst horror house imaginable. |

This is from the era where Jhon Balance genuinely hated people. An unsettling example of the minutiae of living. |

Hmm... I had thought it was about people with medical conditions that go to get heavy surgery(i.e. Lobotomy) and they end up to get just as fucked up and how medicine and hospitals are fucked up and can make people far worse. But the final line "getting your way with a five pound note" seems to show what others have thought as correct. I never really understood that last line... used to think he was saying "hit on the head with a five pound brick" haha |

This is the most frightening song of all time. I remember disctinctly the first time I heard it. I couldn't really understand the lyrics and didn't even know he was saying "Hamburger Lady". Just sounded like a form of gibberish. Then I looked at the song title.... If you want to terrifying someone, this one will work. And if done at certain times, it will permanently drive them insane. Without a doubt the most haunting song ever made... I don't see how it will ever be topped again. |

yes, one of TG's best pieces... Every version of it is awesome. Clearly about the excessive amount of awful days one can have. |

Hmm, what makes you think it is about Dwayne Goettel? It does seem to very much be about heroin. It was released rather close to his death, and of course LPD has close bonds to SP. Well perhaps that's the answer.
I actually find this song very infuriating, not pleasing or fun.... perhaps that is done intentionally.
and yes, R.I.P. Dwayne |

I'm pretty sure this is about people... particularly young kids that are picked on because they look out of the norm other than just race. And this kid feels safe away from everyone and freezes himself in a fridge. You never really know, Ka-Spel makes lyrics that could mean so many things and always in a very bizarre and odd way. |
