great song. aj x, it sorta sounds like what's happening to me... i'm in love with this girl who lives in new york (didn't write a song for her, but wrote a whole freaking essay, which i could turn into a song, if i had those skillz)... but anywayz, i'm in love with her, but it seems like she doesn't understand, and she already has a guy, and no idea what to do... btw my FAVORITE song ever! @ one point i listened to it 100 times in three days :D |

although my meaning is totally different from what the music video shows, this is how i first interpreted it when i first heard it... it's about a guy who has feelings for a girl, but the girl has a boyfriend. he has tried to get over her, but knows it's not possible, and "this feeling's taking control" of him. he doesn't know what will happen when he tells her, but he just wants to let her know how he feels about her. the reason i interpreted the song like this is because i am going through the same situation now... hopefully i'll be able to tell the girl how i feel, and (if i'm lucky) it'll end up like the end of the music video, where the girl and guy get together :D |
