okay, so i've loved this song from the begining. so many other songs on this album are so strange then this one comes on and it sounds so heartfelt and sweet. i think it might be like a person who knew the "star" figure. perhaps she left him when she moved on to bigger things, and he still loves her. he's looking back on pictures of them together, after perhaps finding a new picture of her in a magazine and remembering his feelings. |

WOW... this entire time i thought the "your sins into me" thing was saying "you're simply too late" because in the video he is about to kill himself so i thought he was saying like "its too late you cant save me now... you're simply too late" ish type thing. i dont get the "your sins into me" so i'll just pretend it says otherwise. :] |

this song is so beautiful... it kindof reminds me of someone. he's clearly stating that he'd change anything about himself for the girl he loves.... and all he wants is her to be with him. it also seems like he knows he could lose her again, (hence "tell me lies" about staying forever) but its worth it to him just for another moment with her...

hhah i always thought this one was about a guy who was taking a girl to some remote area to... *ahem* have some "fun" haha. i would have never thought he was going to kill her! when she screams to go faster after he suggests the blanket in the backseat it seemed like she was on the same page he was and they would... you know. *wink* the part about taking her breath and watching her dissappear always seemes sexual too...
it's such an intense and hot song i still love it even if its about a murder. |

okay so i now know about the whole murder trillogy thing and it makes sense and all, but has anyone ever gotten a feeling from this song that he DIDN'T kill her? before i knew about the murder thing i always thought that he was the last INNOCENT person to be seen with Jenny and he really was trying to protect her. the whole "she couldn't scream while i held her close" line went along with the fight idea that she may be crying (and screaming) because they were fighting and he really did love her... so he was trying to comfort her. idk it was just how i felt |
