Sweet interpretation, RadioKorn, basically my thoughts exactly. Yes everything (and everyone) is broken, but in so being, everything (and everyone) is connected. This song should boom from the sky out to everyone in the world. |

i like this a lot. makes me think of the reviews on pitchfork. they always call the kings misogynistic, but i think they're being incredibly hubristic. i'm pratically a feminist and my awesome gf and sister love the kings. fans and ragoo were my favorites too. the fact that even the positive reviews on BoTT don't mention those two songs proves that the music press just doesn't get the kings. |

also...i don't think it's "everybody smoke pot" although it could be...certainly could be a suggestion to help with the understanding. i think it's "everybody haha." but both actually fit with the meaning. |

but probably the best way to get what I am the walrus means is to watch bono sing it in across the universe with as clear a mind as possible.... maybe watching the magical mystery tour will help clear up the meaning too... the i am the walrus video is on youtube, and it makes it's meaning somewhat clear... but the across the universe movie helps you understand it because it provides much of the historical context...but the meaning is still relevant today |

BeatleInsight has cool ideas...i like them a lot whether or not it's all completely true. But I am the Walrus is NOT meaningless.....actually I think it's meaning fits very well within your theory....it's about well...there are some good posts on the i am the walrus site. the wikipedia article is also a decent place to start |
