Personally I think it's about a person who may be looking for love in all the wrong places. And this love their looking for is right in front of them but their unable to see it. So through time and experience they will win over their heart (because that person has already presented the idea of hope of being with them?) I think the intro tests our patience, just as love does. It makes us wait..and during that time of waiting we want the lyrics to start, to cure us of this longing, so we want it more. When it comes..we love it.. |

I love the intro. It has a purpose. It makes you wait. Wait for something good. Something euphoric, something awesome. (like love maybe?). I don't get from the song that it's some freakish obsession with love. |
