"ooh baby i can rock and roll ooh baby get out of my soul" implys he was sucessfull in his efferts to repell her verbal assult. in the last verse he says "now the wicked lance i fear" he may have won this time but knows he is heavily out gunned and is not looking forward to the next encounter.
