| I just heard this on one of my www.Pandora.com stations -- my bluegrass station that I made using the Strength by Numbers genome. If you don't know what I'm talking about go to that website and it will explain all. Oh what a beautiful song this is. It is one of those songs where beauty of the music contrasts with the feeling of loss in the lyrics. What is the loss? Living life at a mundane, gray level, rather than committing the time and action needed to get to the full colors, the "what could be." "I never really tried, I was always afraid that the world would end in ice." There is a lack of involvement due to fear, and a lament for all that could have been if the fear hadn't been there. | |
