this song is about someone who has gotten so sick of how people only think of themselves, and destroy one another, basically condemning the human race. so he lashes out and makes war, and will either fight it with others who feel the same, or he will be a martyr and die for the cause he fights because he knows the real truth, we are part of a bigger picture, to live, love, and seek understanding/knowledge, and see the picture. but if we continue our ways we will die before we see it, we need to work together. and get rid of any selfish thoughts. he realizes he will be a go against the way he really feels, and it breaks his heart. but it comforts himself that at least he knows he is going against his true caring nature. while the people he kills continue to look only at themselves and continue to destroy the human race. |
