I first heard this song lastnight when my gfriend showed me it on youtube. I was expecting some terrible rap song(sorry rap fans, i love older music 50s/60s/70s/80s) I couldnt believe what i was hearing; the song hit me like a tonne of bricks. its just a song that totally 'fits'; its exactly how i feel about my dad(in his 50s, alone and sad) i pitty him but it is his fault.i used to stay with him every sat also. iam determined not to become like him. i love him but resent him equally.songyone & Apollun sum it up. sorry if iam going on but i can relate to the song so much. i love the song-it blew me away and have to admit it brought a tear to my eye. |
