this song is amazing, im pretty sure its about weaving out the people who don't give a fuck about his band from the shows, the people who aren't really into it. the beards growing are the kids who are really into it, and the clean shaven boys are all of the kids who just blend in, he wants them to walk out the door, he wont let those dicks try to destroy what is so important to him (toss hand grenades into this my faith) thats my take |

"thisplacesucks" what would possibly give you the idea that this song was about being ignorant towards gay people other than the video interview of aaron bedard telling the story about the meaning of the song, about his coworker who hated gays and said bad things about spanish people.. haha |

such a good song, i think its about where they are as a band, and how he knows its going to end someday like all good things, "credits they will roll" "door swings slowly shut" those are obviously things that happen when someone leaves or something like a movie ends... "it's getting harder and harder

Who's only purpose is to break this" thats about how hes getting older, and is eventually going to be like 45 and his body is going to get older as well, its like he plays a show with 100 kids, him along with like 30 other kids are completely in love with the music and they get it, but the other kids are just fucking it up, hurting people, wearing camo pants and fitted hats fucking all the important stuff up. the last paragraph is pretty straight forward, cherish these days, cause it will end one day, which will be completely heartbreaking |
