I'd say he was singing sarcastically like... 'Cause you're a god And I am not And I just thought That you would know You're a god And I am not And I just thought I'd let you go... If u ever watched the music video, the girl there is quite bossy and greedy or whatever... She wants what she wants and she gets it... So Im guessing the other guy is trying all he can but he is just not enough for her.. and so he lets go... in the end after the girl got what she wants... she looked at the mirror and realized what she just lost... I guess you can connect the song "Everything you want now"... :D |

For me its like.... About this guy who loved this girl so much... and literally gave all he's got to this girl, and he promised that he would never leaver her.. and would never hurt her... but before they ever got together... The girl went through her failed relationships in the past... then one day the girl asked him... "Why am I so unlucky with love? Why do I always get hurt..." the guy never answered... because he never went through what she did before... and could only imagine the pain she had since he has never fallen with anyone before. So time passed and they fell in love... But then at the end... it all fell apart... when the girl just didn't love the guy anymore... and looked for somebody else... But the guy still loved the girl so much... Out of anger he wanted to say to her... "You we're never unlucky with love... I guess you just didn't deserved it..." ... He gave what she couldn't have before... he became the person she has always wanted... He was everything she needed... But then... He didn't mean anything to her anymore... and she couldn't say why.... Because after all... that's what she "really" wanted.. He wanted to stop her... but can he really stop her when her wanted her to be happy... So he let her have she wants... It's so hard to accept some things... you know it's never going to come back... you know it's never going to be the same... |
