Give me envy. Flash. Give me malice. Flash. Give me a break. I warn you now that I have interpreted this song, and it DOES have spoilers from the book Invisible Monsters, so if you have not read it... DON'T READ THIS!! Idk but I am 99.999% sure this song is kind of dirived from the book "Invisible Monsters" by Chuck Palahnuik. In the beginning Brandy Alexander has been shot and is bleeding on the floor of Evie Cottrell's giant mansion atrium type place. ~Bleeding on the ballroom floor, just for the attention~ What you learn later in the book (SPOILERS) is that Brandy Alexander, Queen Supreme doesn't want attention at all.. She decided to become a woman because it would be the biggest mistake she would ever make. Becoming a woman, when you want to, could be amazing. But if you don't want it to happen it's the worst form of self mutilation possible. They said in the book that sometimes you need to live your life through chaos. And that is what Brandy Alexander a.k.a Shane McFarland is going for. Boys will be boys, hiding in estrogen and wearing aberguine dreams is basically saying Brandy is a man, and he is hiding from his future and running away from everything by becoming a woman (hiding in estrogen). Aberguine dreams is what Miss Queen Supreme is always wearing. Give me envy, give me malice is a part in the book that Shannon McFarland always says because she used to be a model before she shot her own face off... So she's just going off of what her photographer says to her.. The shotgun wedding thing is from Evie having a rifle at her wedding and shooting Brandy Alexander.. Okay so that's it.... I would like to say that most Panic songs either come from Chuck Palahnuik books, (I am a huge fan of him and have read everyone. The connections from the books to their songs are AMAZING) or about like Ryan's life. I love their music! |
