Man, I thought it was one of those good old-fashion punk songs, you know, kind of a proverbial finger to the world itself... but when I look at the lyrics like this, it becomes obvious it's just about the troubles of American youth... That's what it seems like, anyway.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's a song about someone she hates right now, reguardless of whether she liked them before or not. I think the line "Dismantle Me" is a taunting line, like, "Go ahead, try me" I could be wrong, but that's what I think.

You guys sound kinda nitpicky on the whole "Shattered" thing. I mean, I don't think it would change the meaning of the song, either way... I think it's about someone brody trusted, or maybe a group of someones brody trusted, that turned on her.... I'm almost certain I'm wrong, but it may have something to do with a few friends on Hellcat records. Maybe they abandoned her after she left Tim. Yet again, I don't think I'm right, but that's my best guess.

Okay... why would we be talking about GC on a Distillers page? Whatever. I think, maybe Brody was expecting something different when she went to LA, and she was dissappointed about it. That's what I think this song is about.

I can see RaZZor's theory, I guess, but it still seems like it's about... Spiderman... It's a rather good cover, too. Of course, it's the Distillers! They can do a celine dion cover and I'd probably love it.
