First off, this is what Songmeanings says ATDR is... "A Day to Remember were formed in 2003 and mix emo, hardcore, and metal into a blend affectionately referred to by their fans as "pop mosh."" And also, emo music, is actually a form of punk (it stemmed off from punk) that featured whinier singing and lyrics (opposed to punks anarchistic lyrics), mainly about girlfriends and such. And emo is not short for emotional hardcore, it's for something like emotech. |

To me there's one part of the song that really speaks to me. "i'm frightened by what i see but somehow i know that there's much more to come" This to me, is about cutting. Someone, after cutting themself, looks at what they've done, and they're scare/'frightened' by what they see, but they know that they're only going to cut more, and they feel there's much more to come. But, that's just to me. |

| If you play the song backwards it says something along the lines of "Pause the music, faggot" | |
