Um, well it sounds like the singer when insane after someone very important to him and fragile died, or was murdered. Maybe his child or little sibling, or even a sick dear one, because butterflies can be killed so easily, so he creates an innerworld where they never die. Or "Float on to the painted sky where we shall be unified" sounds like he is forcing himself to slip away to find a innerworld were they never died. Anyway I love this song so much! |

Before I learned what it was about, I thought it was about an abusive relationship. Like is best friend ends up in a bad position and trys to talk to the abusive boyfriend. And the singer knows what's going on but doesn't say anything. But the boyfriend ends up killing her in the end, and the singer feels like its his fault for not saying else. That was just my take at first. ^^ |
