I feel like i cant even write about how much this song means to me. because I could never fully express how Jeff's words impact, and have gotten me through alot of lifes obstacles. Its like someone is not really there, like they are just going thru life a "zombie" just playing the part saying the lines...no emotion at all. "just let me fall off this stage cuz you know that it would be better than thinking that I dont have you." im just guessing that this means that he would give up everything just for his girl. that she means more then everything. "Can I just have three shots of the houses best drink?" and now hes ordering drinks to forget that shes not there for him anymore "Believe it or not the rings still in the back pocket wishing it could find a home, instead I lose those smiles that I used to sport down the runway. WHY, did I do this to myself?" he was going to spend his life with her, and the ring is in his pocket so hes still thinking about her or else he would have returned it. and hes loosing his smile cause he is sad DUH but it kinda sounds like he knew it would happen and that he regrets it, when he says why did i do this to myself? like he set himself up for all of it.
