I think this song is about a girl whos leading some dude on, even though she doesn't really want to get into a relationship. Now after the guy has been hurt several times by her and given up trying to get close to her, he's looking back and seeing the everything that he "thought" was there really was just her playing with him.

Wow.....I feel like i should go sing this song on the rooftops.....To me its about a boy who's just in denial about a relationship after a break up and who still is in love with this girl even know she already ended it. He's just having a hard time getting over her and he's always giving in and calling her trying to work it out but he's just "pretending to hear your voice". Sad that I can actually relate to this 100 % right now :| |

Love this song soooo much. "Sometimes I laugh out loud, as i think about, you asking me please can you help, can't help myself...i'm not your savior." That line really has a lot of meaning to me. Seems to me its about a friend asking for help from someone who can't even take care of themselves, doesnt have a job etc etc..... |

Yea this song is awesome, its true sometimes too. When you really like someone and they don't feel the same way about you, you can find yourself getting feelings of hatred towards them. I agree this is one of my favorite strung out songs.
"I found myself again and i didn't like this thing that i've become now"......
Seems to me it's about someone whos changed for someone( a girl perhaps) and now doesn't like what he's become. "And you always got the best of me
While bringing out the worst of me"
I think the line at the end really drives home the point "Is what you see in me
really what i wanna be?" He doesn't like what he's become for this person and realizes he must change if he wants to be happy.... Thats just what i take from this song |
