| For a band, such as Foals, that focus more on producing complex layers of rhythm and tones, the lyrics are a minimized way of adding to the complexity; the vocals seem to never distract from the music but add a specific layer to the sound . I don't really think it was a lack of creativity, but a stylistic thing. | |
