| i think this song is about jerrys drug addiction. it speaks about how he wants to get rid of it but he cant help it. he knows that the drug makes him feel good but hes sick of it, hence the lyrics everytime u let it show i dint wanna know. by the time i had lsot my soul u had to go means hes never really satisfied with his high. as soon as he begins to feel it the high wears off. in the video, the woman is actually the drug that has held him captive. she takes him out and burys him, signifying his high. she washes him down after that which means its wearing off. in the end jerry is running away from her, just like layne wanted to get rid of his addiction. this song makes sense to me this way. | |
