i agree with the forever and xinas. I think someone started a fire to get rid of something or someone, but someone they didn't mean to got caught in the blaze and this song is about them regretting what they did knowing they could have stopped it. |

i love the blackout. so much. but, and i may be wrong, there is an error in these lyrics. im sure the first time through it says this: through the rain and tiers your eyes hide from me because they now see truth in disbelief so then take a knife from my bleeding heart from your bleeding heart turn it on myself" then the second time through it says what was submitted. like i said, i could be wrong, but it's what i think. awesome song. |

This song has to be one of the best ones they've ever done. I love gerard ways voice. I've listened to these since Bullets came out in teh UK and i still haven't been to see these yet. it's a hell of a wounder. This band inspire me so much when i write my stories and this album is definately the best one. The black parade is decent but you cant beat Three Cheers... I think this song is talking about 'gerard' coming back from the 'dead' and taking revenge on all the poeple that wronged him during his life because he cant rest peacefully if he doesn't. Also, i may be wrong but, i think at the end, "i've lost my fear of falling i will be with you" means since he's done all he needs to do he's not afraid to die anymore to see someone he loves. xox |
