Wow! Yes I'm slow and have only just picked up on the play of words with If U Seek Amy - F U C K ME. Very cleverrr! That's just made me love the song even more now haha. Anyway, this song, I think the basic concept is the song is about sex. Not too sure I need to say much more?! But yep, very addictive. |

This song is gorgeous! My interpretation of this song would be about an old lover who keeps coming back, and the girl has finally realised that in reality, things aren't going to work out. Certain lines in the song make me think that initially the girl in the song was the one who got her heart broken and wanted him more than he wanted her, and really wanted it to work as she loved him. However the song seems to say that now the tables have turned... and its the guy keeps running back to the girl. But she knows the pain he put her through and how it didn't work, so she wants him to let her "fly away" so she can get over him and come "out from under". That's just my opinion, but I definitley think its about letting go of someone, or being yourself and standing as your own person. And seeing the reality that things won't work out! |

I agree with Sourblue. To me, this song is about a woman who manages to blind men with her flirtacious manner, and as a result they fall for her. Or at least she 'gets him hard' which suggests maybe a whore attitude! But I think there's definitley a money element within this. Poker being a well known game for money, so this comes through with the lyrics. Absolutely love this song though; pefect for getting ready for a night out to I tell you! ;) |

I don't know what everyone else thinks, but this song sounds generally to me like it is about suggesting having sex for the first time with somebody new. The first verse hints about wanting to go a step further, and 'stepping it up a notch', since she's "ready to lose touch". The persn of the song seems keen, but they're not sure how the other feels. "This is the crossing at the main intersection." - could be quite an innuendo! And the verse: "This is the final call for all destinations This is where you're in or out No hesitation, this is not the time for doubt Make your decision, Are you on or off the line, line, line...?" The person wants an answer as soon as they can, they really want this person!! |

| Colbie Caillat – The Little Things Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song is about a guy that is leaving this girl hanging by a thread, and he really shouldn't because she absolutely adores him. Maybe he doesn't realise just how much he affects her, ("the little things you do to me are taking me over"). You could probably say he's being quite ignorant in some ways ("get your attention, before you pass me by") and it seems like he has power over her in some ways maybe, but she's head over heels and would love it to work, telling him to "back up" and "take another chance". | |

This song is so cute. I would say this song is about a guy and a girl, and at one point they would have been so close, but then things went wrong and they remained in contact, but not as close. And then sooner or later, the guy realised his mistakes and how much he missed her, and admitting through all the wrong that went on ("Some mistakes in my past, But i'm tired of making excuses") he is grateful she is still in his life, and would love to regain what they had, confessing he'd always choose her. Everytime. |

I think most people that have commented on this page have summed the meaning up by now. It's an absolutely beautiful song, and really, the message of the song is just saying, you don't need all the money and extravagant things in life; because in reality - and as cheesy as it sounds - its simply the little things in life which make the love grow. |

| I agree with Stolen_By_Music - to me, this song is about drifting away from someone you were once close with. Once they're gone, and they've moved on, you look back and realise all the good times you shared together, and it just makes you miss the person even more. It's a song that makes me feel this way to say the least. | |
