Now To The Song.... "As Bullets Lance The Bravest Of Lungs" Clearly about the war going on over seas. I.E. "The Sky Is Falling" And "Broken Lungs." "We Hold Our Tongues" Is how no one cares that the brave soldiers are being killed, all we care about is for the war to end. But we dont state our opinions about why it should end, and we just want to look the other way. "Tell Me Are You Free When The Fear Falls On You" Is that we live in the U.S. I.E. "The Land Of The Free" But we still hold fear, even though we believe we are free. And yes, Definatly not about smoking..... If they were that much against smoking to write a song about it, They wouldnt play in venues were bars are located and everyone is smoking and getting drunk. I know many christians, and they would never ever go into a bar, to witness these things. |

The first part of this song is declaring what we all have as a responiblilty, And should be what you all should follow, "A Birthright And Obligation" While the rest of it is stating the fualts of man, letting you clearly know what is wrong with our race, "A Glaring Missconseption Of Self Importance" "When Pride Is Allied With Hostility, All Reason Is Denied" An Example...... "My Dad Can Beat Up Your Dad" Understand, no? The strongest lines in the song are, "I Choose Not To Accept It, Not Into My Life" Meaning we all have a choice, either be the venom, or be the ones able to digest it. |

This song reminds me of "The Image Of The Invisible" Off of Vheissu. And also the next song on the Album, "Burn The Fleat." All have relatively the same meaning, And if you dont see that, you need your reasoning checked. As far as the Christian what nots, I dont really care what they are. A qoute from of my favorite band, "If I Am To Die, If I Must Die. I Must Inpire While I Live." Which, after reading many reviews of the band, seems to be exactly what there doing. I Just found out, after finding this website, That they are very christian influenced. I always had the idea, but i never knew they were this dedicated in there lyrics. (Ive always read the lyrics, just never looked up bible versus before.) Last year i just got a tat of them, There old symbol, The one that some people call a bent Swastica...... And even tho im not christian, or religous at all, Actually i believe in Cynicism, And Misanthropy, I will sport my tat even more. Becuase they are "Inspireing" not forcefully "Preaching" like most other religions do. It doesnt matter what religion they are, or what there whole backround is, If they are helping people open there minds to beliefs and ideas, They are a great group of people.
