i love this song so much! the foot steps in the background really sets up a catchy beat! i love that she's singing about trying to become successful in the music business, "Hurry up.. and wait. So close, but so far away Everything that you always dreamed of.... close enough for you to taste but you just can't touch." she's won american idol but she STILL is so far from her dream... she thought that that would push her into the spotlight.. "You wanna show the world but no one knows your name yet. You wonder when and where, and how you're gonna make it. You know you can if you get the chance In your face, and the door keeps slammin. Now you're feeling more and more frusterated and you're gettin all kind of impatient waiting......we live and we learn" she saying that she know that she can do it but record companies/execs are slamming the doors on her ideas, and maybe even her in general... she's getting really frustrated with the business in general..
