The first time I heard this song, I thought it was about this girl who had this guy friend whom she had feelings for and she sort-of assumed that she was special for this guy, too. It was like they're together but not really together... it was "between the lines"; not explicitly acknowledged but it was THERE. And then... "Until now, he told me her name", and from that point on, things went haywire for her. But now, I'm leaning more on the cheating-boyfriend story.... :) |
