huh? this is a beautiful "its over" love song. for whatever reason...the age is irrelevant - it just represents that time, when you were free to be with each other, that time when you were in love with each other. when she loved you too perhaps...its describing their place, and how he must have felt when they met beneath the moon - watching her approach and how empty it feels now, to be in that same place, where she will never be again. its one of the most beautiful love poems ever and i use it with my incarcerated students because they can relate - especially to folded notes in envelopes...way to go. cant someone download it already so i can add it to my myspace?? |
