the miscarriage story is legit. his wife had a miscarriage right near the expectancy day. and since matt is so mental, that must have wrecked him. the miscarriage is one of the main reasons the marriage didn't last, and that he eventually ODed. luckily, he survived. This song is definitely a solid FUCK YOU to his ex-wife, but most of it is about how the miscarriage wrecked their marriage. review lines like "there ain't nothin to this but your daughter", "Your whole life, a plane without no landing gear So if this is it, then come on let me land", and "Go put it in the ground Go bury it somewhere it can't be found Go put it in the ground" and think about the heavy symbolism there in regards to his unborn child. also, the title "born losers" is a dead give away. bottom line though, MG is pure brilliance |
