I love this song. I think what it means is that, there's a girl, and she's depressed. So she takes drugs, "She filled her veins with lies, until she saw the light." She had an overdose, and died, and whoever she was with didn't know what to do, so they dumped her body by a river. But it alos says "Never scared, never worried that the summer would end. Invincible to every short bend. We drove so fast, thought it would last. But time had taken its toll, she had no place to go." They were being reckless, and the drugs were kicking in after all the time of messing around, went to a bend in the road and didn't veer off in the direction that they were suppose to and went over some edge. So i'm not sure what exactly, thats just what I'm thinking. I'm not saying that's right, that's just what I've come to think it might mean listening to the song so many times. |
