My mom died when i was 8 and my father isnt in my life , and this past mothers day i just listened to this song all day and when i got home at night and listened to it i broke down in tears. I mean my mothers death wasnt a suicide and my father not being in my life isnt a death at all but this song is still powerul to me. And after i learned his brother commited suicide i felt terrible for him. |

I saw something either on youtube or a description of each song on the internet somewere by j.t. and he said he saw something on the news about children being abused in their homes, and that the song is about kids who are abused at home and think running away is the last resort. And the song is saying that its always someone you can come to and you never know who will listen. If you keep that in mind while listening to the song it actually makes sense and the reprised versions ending is beutiful~ and should have been longer. If anyone has a zune run the soft ware and look up their CD and i think thats were i got the descriptions of each song included this one. |
