I agree with Noobixcube, she's taken her friendship with a friend to the next level and shes afraid that she'll ruin their friendship and shes confused because they havent talked it through, just sortof started a new level of closeness. thats my opinion anyway. |

I agree with Jetsabel. i think the first part is about making a mistake, and it causing terrible consequences in his life. then the part "It was in a foreign hotel's bathtub I baptized myself in change And one by one I drowned all of the people I had been" is talking about him trying to kill himself. I'm not as sure about the rest but i think its about him seeing whats on the other side, seeing God but then God sending him back, giving him a second chance of life and when he wakes up again, he's got more hope from God. lovely song though. |

This song is about him deciding to kill himself at the beginning but I think that a mixture of little things (including spring's 'persuasive rays' and 'Justin' telling him he'll kill himself too if Conor does) and the fact that his brother is about to have his first child all persuade him against doing so. I think at the end, he decides to try and become less depressed so that he can support his new nephew. anyway, lovely song, amazing artist. x |
