I disagree with the comments have in reference to the God in regards to the lyrics. My God! is an expression not talking to god directly. Also, "I am praying" not necessarily God... u pray for something good to happen when ur in a big mess.. not necessarily to God.. but blessesings from anyone, some good deed, or blessings from parents or someone that turns her bad luck into good luck... her state of mind is purely depression and says "I want to die"... She is looking for someone who can help, not necessarily god.. |

I think this song is quite appropriately done for the the movie Blow (2001) Johhny Deep. Its amazing to see a character lost with life, when repeatedly reminded that he is on wrong track by his Dad; in the end he misses a single glimpse and looses the only thing he really loved - his daughter. |

| I remember hearing to this song when i was in school (come from non-english country but from english school) my heart pounded heavily and it make me think about myself and what one can do - a power of one can make a difference. I remember how we friends were quick to exchange the audio cassette for songs and this was one song which was so distinct and unique... Now i am settled in Aus. I guess, we aussies remember John, but only few remember his song and what he wanted to convey in this song.... It was great experience to listen and admire this song... and the unique way to bring fusion of rock, metal and bagpiper with inspiring words makes it so sweet... brings my memory of younger days back... :) | |

I think he talks about endless journey...
