The video reminds me of Alice in Wonderland!! i see it as a girl living her life in a fairy-tale world until she grows up and realizes that things aren't always so great and not everything comes easy. Two lines that stuck out to me particularly were: "you built up a world of magic Because your real life is tragic" ^^life gets so overwhelming that she puts on a mask to hide the pain. "Keep your feet on the ground When your head's in the clouds" ^^dont lose yourself in the fairytale, although it is a happy place, its not real. Your feet are your anchors to reality. |

I think this song talks about someone who has shut out the rest of the world from their life to the point that everyone around them lives in fear that this person may not see the sun the next day. "When it Rains" = when it rains, it pours... Just my opinion |

| i have always connected with this song as I have with many of Lifehouse's songs. This song in particular is a life lesson - Dont hold back from doing something because you will never know if it could be a great thing. In this case they are talking about a relationship. A guy has likes a girl who is timid about getting into this relationship with him, possibly in fear of ruining thier friendship. The guy tells her that "We'll never know til we try." You never know if something is gonna work or not until u try it out. | |

Anyone have an idea of what this song is about?? Its my favorite song on the cd... its got alot of emotion in it and a really catchy melody. Im guessing its about a guy who missed out on saying what he really felt for the girl becuase he waited to long. |

i gotta say i love hinder for the simple fact that they have such a different sound from all the other bands. i caint wait to see them live!! this song as well as 'Lips of an Angel' remind me of a relationship i had (if u can call it a relationship lol). She was cheating on her boyfriend with me and i liked her so much and she would always tell me how much better i am for her. the things he talks about in the song kind of remind me of everything. |

| This is deffinately my favortie song by AVA with "A Little's Enough" close behind. This so is powerful and chilling to hear, i love it. I think this song is about a person stuggle, like a battle someone is fighting inside themself. Nothing in particular but its a problem thats driving him crazy but he know's this war must be fought til the end and that he is going to have to make sacrafices and he's going to lose some along the way but in the end its for the better. | |
