I agree with farrarlikesmusic. I think it's possible he has done something wrong and upset/ lost this person (they say it takes time to heal the wounds), and is now asking for forgiveness . He is impatient for the person to forgive 'let it go, let it go', because he still wants them, badly. Nothing's changed, I'am still here. |

Personally, I feel, it seems to be about the person's sexual exploration. A selfish fulfillment for sex that is completley empty... Skeleton could be reffering to the sense of emptiness, there is no heart in his actions. "Take off your shirt. Take off your dress." "we can go dancing." 'dancing' to me is a big yet subtle connotation of sexual action, such as the movement of a dance, and taking off items of clothing is leading up to this act. An egotistical and egocentric man with 'simple desires' to fulfill his needs of sex. Very masculine even the imagery of horses seems very masculine to me... 'You take the fun of me' could be something threatening to his manly imagery. But I'm not sure on that phrase. Overall there is something hollow and empty to the mood of this song. I like this song. It seems truthful. :) |
