I don't think this is about killing anyone, it's about a partner quitting on your relationship after doing and thinking everything was alright and she threw it away. hydrogen, I can definitely relate...my ex left me, and led me on an emotional roller-coaster...HE was the quitter and didn't follow. I too love this song and every other Toadies song. Todd, Mark and Clark are hot!

OMG! This song really hits close to home for me, after being married 12 years and having gone through a separation 5 years earlier, my ex was unhappy and hooking up with a coworker of his. Never did I expect it since he built me up and I believed we were going to grow old together, I didn't see it coming. At first I felt like I was living a nightmare I guess because of how much I loved him and now I see it as a blessing in disguise. This song describes it exactly how it happened for me, trully amazing. I got over him and wish him the best! Thanks for letting me go :) |

Wow, this song makes me want to dance really close to the one I love, it's great music and the lyrics are understandable. To me this song is about a person who is in love with a person that is already in a relationship obviously with someone else, but the person who loves this person lets his/her imagination run with how it would feel to have the feeling reciprocated and be loved by the one they love. Awww, to be in lust but the thought of love can let your imagination run wild. |

In my opinion this song is about a love/hate relationship and both having that mutual feeling, of love/hate yet they can't live without one another and treat each other badly. Love is like a drug, you feel like you are near death without it and abuse it when you do have it. Shirley's voice provokes an orgasm like feeling in my ears. Garbage rocks! |
