I just saw him live last week in Toronto, and though he was a little drunk on stage it didn't hurt his playing. I also had the good fortune of talking with him after wards, and he is one of the most down to earth guys I have ever met, he was just surprised people came to his show. |

No the female are the punk and the male are the twee as the male lines go "I never cared about Henry Rollins" saying he doesn't care about black Flag. same with the female line, even though the male line makes a punk reference and the female the twee reference they are saying they dont care about the other. |

This is song is about the battle between Twee and punk/hardcore (hence Tweexcore). The female vocals are punk/hardcore and male Twee. It's mostly shown when the female vocals mention punk icons, and Male Twee icons. But its also shown in the second verse, "Getting the laptop fixed by a professional doesn't make me a pawn" is a reference to the DIY culture of Punk. Then the line "Ooh, this city is run by fucking pigs, and though you say you're my friend, you're not, you're one of them." Is reference to the idea of the punk rock scene being weary of twee for being catchy and poppy.
