well you people are obviously fitting the stereotype metal dickhead cliché by fighting after the first 3 comments where given. but wth, i dont really get the feeling anyone precisely identified with the song. with me it was that way (sierp will like this one), when i was 15 i listened to that song without regarding special lyrics and some time later dropped the band.. now i found this song accidentily again on youtube with lyrics and stuff and how wonderful, its about the father thing. with 15 i had no idea of my dad so.. anyone in here understanding what loads of aggression that situation can cause? another friend of mine still quarreling with the father thing always walks around threatening "i kill you and you and you" but couldnt kill a fly. "How many times have you wanted to kill Everything and everyone - Say you'll do it but never will" wishing for some more analysis.. |

i think ABFH is right. to make him play the demo would explain why they put in the "old and incontinent" part only life where he wont hear it directly.. and to the aging problem i think that even grownups can have a really baaaad crush on people.. especially amanda with all her.. subjective.. honest.. way of being. ever realized that "imcompetent" is "incontinent" crossed with "impotent"? it is actually a quit motivating song. thinking about my personal situation.. after some years you start doubting, well what is this anymore. maybe its better to go on alone. even though its hard. you had something to do then, some goal or so.. but they repeat "just dont give up" and they call it still "our love" even though it aint so beautiful feeling anymore. finally i go on believing, that we can make it if we just try hard enough. its says that some things are worth it. dont give up. |

this song is obviously about drugs, specially dying by drugs. "This is where your sanity gives in And love begins" sounds like h. could be about being in love, yes. but think again about "When your blood runs dry You're paralyzed It will eat your mind Did you hold it back It comes to you in slow attacks" its about physic. substances. she must have had a reason when she sang following on the live cd: "the swedish way to die." |
