I can relate.... when something wrong feels right. I'm with someone and have been for a while, long enough for it to have become that comfortable, complacent but loving kind of relationship.... But the other person comes along, and makes me a crazy idiot.... makes me feel strange and alive and uncomfortable and desirable and beautiful.... and I like it even though its wrong.... and it starts out awkwardly but I end up giving in.... we have this unexplainable connection (but it hasn't become physical, btw). and he's always questioning me.... putting pressure on me.... asking why he isn't 'good enough' or 'worthy', why I don't want to be with him for good. But its not such an easy decision. obviously. which is why the last line gets me every time! |

Hahaha :) I will try to answer. In a way, yes things have been put into perspective - but I keep listening to it over and over hoping it will magically provide me with all the answers I seek... As if that will ever happen. LOL. I also know how you feel, about loving the song more because it says so much and it is incredibly beautiful This, however, is a situation I am trying to put behind me. Once it is, the memories of it will always be brought up when I hear this song and that makes me feel less hopeless and alone. I may have made it sound straightforward but it's incredibly intense and I hope I am able to put it behind me...... How about you evil jelly tot????? |

I seem to think it's the other way around. She is the one seeing someone. Like you say, you have to be in certain situations and then it just hits you. Particularly the last two lines "I don't think you unworthy, but I need a moment to deliberate" - just gives me chills. Woman, particularly hot blooded woman, in long term relationship with man. Another man comes along and suddenly everything changes for her. But like people have been discussing earlier in this thread, it's a gradual process. At first she's nothing but flattered, and shies away from the attention - because of course this is wrong. But it develops into something a lot more and a lot deeper, more intense. But still, what does this mean about the relationship she is in? She's confused. And then she ends up saying, you're not unworthy Give me time to deliberate. And decide what to do about this |

I love how even though she says "I won't shed a tear" but in her music video all she does is sit there with tears streaming down her face... She's obviously hurting very badly and "didn't want the train to come" but she's trying to be strong and not give in to him |
